The prestigious Carmarthenshire Communities First Recognition event took place in Llanelly House. Hosted within one of the most glorious Georgian buildings in Wales, the event aimed to recognise the achievements of learners who attended and completed courses commissioned and/or funded by the Carmarthenshire Communities First Cluster.
Kathryn Davey and Anna Roberts-Davies both received recognition of attending the three day bespoke Street Buddies training programme created and delivered by Rivki Rose Training. The course focused on supporting participants in developing their community development skills.

“It’s very exciting to see the Time Credits project take off in the Gwendraeth Valley”, said Becca Rosenthal. “Both Kathryn and Anna are really prepared to go above and beyond to support their local communities to develop and grow. To see them receive recognition this evening was really fantastic as they’ve both worked really hard. I’m looking forward to seeing where their journey takes them next!”
The evening saw speeches from Communities First staff members Rhian Richards and Amber Williams focusing on achievement, volunteering and training opportunities. Rachel Gegeshidze, Carmarthenshire Time Credits Facilitator introduced Time Credits to those present not familiar with the project and spoke about upcoming opportunities available to those living in a Communities First area in the county.
